36 weeks

Posted: 11/17/2008 in life

ok so I realize I’ve been spotty at best, but more than 3/4 of the end of the year craziness has now come to an end. yay!! now we’re literally just waiting for Dec 12th. To meet Frankenstein…as he is still and has been lovingly referred to for a few months now…he’s a “little monster”. ha ha.

As Anders gets older, and ruder and more manly and boylike instead of Mommy’s polite little baby boy, I get more and more happy I get to start it over, and increasingly sad that it will just happen again, probably sooner cause of Anders ha ha ha. Thats my job I guess. what I signed up for.

I go for a check up tomorrow, internal and all, see if I’m dialated and whatnot. I’m still mostly belly (as you may see in wedding pics to be posted within the next few days) in 25 days which seems so close yet SO far…he will be here, he will have to be named (should be fun) and I will once again start to take back over my sore uncomfortable beate up body…bring on the wine or champagne please….(tho I know I won’t even want it).

thanks for the check ins and well wishes….I should be a bit more regular on here now! yay!!!

    Good to see you back!

I miss wine terribly, so I have to ask–do you mean you won’t want it right after delivery, or won’t want it at all? I am REALLY looking forward to my first post-partum drink, but think it’s probably rude to pack it in the hospital bag. 🙂

c-section healing, air and gas in abdomen & alcohol make for a very painful few days. learned that the hard way. I have wanted wine since 4 months ago daily ha haha, I’ll wait a week or two before sitting back and enjoying some…between being tired and surgery it just isn’t worth it too close to “delivery”. if you have a normal delivery…drink up!!!

  3. Monica h says:

    Holy moly- 36 weeks!

Glad you’re doing well and I can’t wait to see what happens in the next few weeks. Take care.

  4. Rachel says:

    Wow, that went fast!

  5. Julia says:

    36! Woot!
And good luck with the naming… Always a difficult process for us,
    so I feel for you.

  6. christyna says:

oh we have 2 names finalized, we’re just waiting to see which one fits his face…ha ha ha we keep telling our families we still have NO names, they’re shocked, but we are SO not telling them! these last 3 1/2 weeks are gonna DRAG ASS!
